Courtesy guidelines:

Be thorough! 

Include times, dates, locations, expected length of shoot, and any other relevant info. If you have specific requirements for the cast-member, be clear about them.

Be transparent about pay! 

Be up-front about whether the gig is paid or unpaid. If it is paid, be transparent about rates and how/when crew will be paid.

And whether the gig is paid or pro-bono, always plan to include craft services like water and healthy snacks at a minimum!
