Film Florida TV Public Call for Content
Film Florida TV is now accepting submissions for their Summer Showcase. https://filmflorida.vhx.tv/ They invite companies, individual filmmakers, students, colleges, universities, and film festivals to share the stories that showcase the talent and diversity of our state’s production industry. The slate of curated films can be featured in the Film Florida TV summer release lineup.
Submissions are now open, and they close on Monday, August 3, 2026. Please note that we have special Notice of Participation deadlines for Film Festivals and Companies.
Submit your work through FilmFreeway: https://filmfreeway.com/FilmFloridaTVSummerShowcase (NOTE: Companies may submit with a different process)
Selected submissions may be featured on Film Florida TV and will also be eligible for the Film Florida TV Summer Showcase Jury’s Choice Award, recognizing outstanding storytelling and creative achievement across the showcase. Additional information will be shared during the submission period.

All current Film Florida members qualify for a waiver code to submit at no cost. If you have not yet received your waiver code, please contact ott@filmflorida.org to obtain it.
Individuals (not companies or organizations) who are not currently Film Florida members can receive a one-time discounted new Individual-Level Membership as part of their submission fee. This discount is available only to individual filmmakers. It does not apply to submissions made on behalf of film festivals, production companies, or other organizations that are not current Film Florida members. For any questions about this discounted new Individual-Level Membership, please email info@filmflorida.org.

Individual Filmmakers (Non-Student)
Submit your content through FilmFreeway by Monday, August 3, 2026. Please review the submission checklist HERE.
Colleges and Universities
What to submit:
· Selected films created by your current or former students
· Content that represents a “Best Of,” faculty pick, award-winning project, or standout capstone/thesis film
Colleges and universities may submit films on behalf of their current or former students, provided appropriate permissions are secured. Film Florida TV provides an exciting opportunity to highlight standout films from your institution. Submit student work through FilmFreeway by Monday, August 3, 2026.
Institutions may be highlighted on the streaming channel only if the institution itself is a current Film Florida member. Colleges or Universities may join Film Florida HERE. Please review the submission checklist HERE.
Film Festivals
Film Florida TV provides a great way to highlight the winners from your festivals. Notify Film Florida of your intent to participate by Monday, July 13, 2026. Festivals may extend the waiver code to selected filmmakers within their designated showcase block or category.
To be included in this season’s showcase, participating filmmakers must complete their FilmFreeway submissions by Monday, August 3, 2026. Film festivals may be highlighted on the streaming channel only if the festival itself is a current Film Florida member. Film Festivals may join Film Florida HERE. Companies/Corporate Members
Notify Film Florida of your intent to participate by 5:00pm on Friday, July 24, 2026. Reach out to ott@filmflorida.org for detailed information about the submission process for corporate members. Content for consideration must be submitted by Monday, August 3, 2026. Please note that companies may be highlighted on the streaming channel only if they are Film Florida members. Companies may join Film Florida HERE.
Student Filmmakers
Please note that this guide is intended for student filmmakers who wish to submit their work independently and who will not otherwise be represented through submissions from participating member colleges and universities.
